Gear Oil 140sae
Gear oil made specifically for transmissions, transfer cases, and differentials in automobiles,It is of a higher viscosity to better protect the gears and usually is associated with a strong sulfur smell.
This is an extreme-pressure lubricant for gear boxes, specifically formulated to satisfy the highest service conditions: high speed, shock loads and high torque at low speeds.
Applications
This oil is recommended for all hypoid transmissions and is also suitable for spiral bevel gears, worm wheels and most transaxles. It can be used without any problems for all transmission parts, where API GL 4- or GL 5-oils is recommended.
